Targeted Early Intervention Program (T.E.I)
FOCUS Connect is dedicated to improving short to medium-term outcomes for children, young people, families and communities facing vulnerability or at-risk situations. By focusing on effective prevention and early intervention, we aim to positively influence the trajectories of children in (CALD) communities.
Family Capacity Building targets CALD families with children in their care aged 0-17 years, who live in the Macarthur region. Families work alongside a qualified caseworker to identify any family goals, needs or risk areas. The process is holistic, child-centered and strengths-based. The aim is to empower families to build their capacity and skills in areas that are specifically identified by the family or through caseworker assessments.
Triple P, our complimentary parenting program, is open to all families with children aged 0-11 years residing in the Macarthur region. This program empowers parents with evidence-based strategies supported by research to address everyday parenting challenges. Designed to provide focused support for parent-child relationships and enhance practical parenting skills.
Our playgroups for children aged 0-5 in the Macarthur Area, led by qualified facilitators, promote overall well-being for both parents and children. Focused on "Learning through Play," these sessions enhance emotional, social and motor skills development.
Emphasising play's role in strengthening parent-child bonds, facilitators provide valuable information on childhood development, learning and available local services. The playgroups create a positive environment for children to socialise, play and engage in age-appropriate learning experiences.
