Child and Parenting Program (CAPP)

Multicultural Child and Parenting Program (CAPP)

Tailored to Our multicultural families across the Macarthur region, our Child & Parenting Program supports children aged 0-17 who are seeking assistance or are identified as at-risk. This program is delivered through supported playgroups and case management.

Supported Playgroups

Nurturing Early Development and Parent-Child Bonds

Our supported playgroups provide a valuable space for parents with children aged 0-5 years. Led by qualified early childhood facilitators, these play activities foster literacy and numeracy skills, preparing children for school. Parents are encouraged to strengthen their parent-child relationship, receiving valuable information on childhood health, safety, development and parenting education. The playgroups serve as a platform for both informal and formal social networking, effectively reducing social isolation. Parents also have the opportunity to participate in informative sessions delivered by local services.

We help clients strengthen their parenting capacity, improve health and wellbeing, increase participation in social inclusion activities, secure sustained, safe and stable housing, and develop effective goal-setting and planning skills.
