Child and Parenting Program (CAPP)
Tailored to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) families in the Macarthur area, our Child & Parenting Program supports children aged 0-17 who are seeking assistance or are identified as at-risk. This program is delivered through supported playgroups and case management.
Our supported playgroups provide a valuable space for parents with children aged 0-5 years. Led by qualified early childhood facilitators, these play activities foster literacy and numeracy skills, preparing children for school. Parents are encouraged to strengthen their parent-child relationship, receiving valuable information on childhood health, safety, development and parenting education. The playgroups serve as a platform for both informal and formal social networking, effectively reducing social isolation. Parents also have the opportunity to participate in informative sessions delivered by local services.
